2014 Alumni Run

WAUWATOSA, WI - The annual run takes place at 10:00 AM on the first Saturday in August and brings back an array of former Red Raiders an serves as a fitness indicator for current team members and recent graduates running in college.

This year brought 11 alums back proved to be the most competitive 5k race in recent years (and possibly ever) despite the hot and humid conditions with Steffen Uhrich ('13) winning for the second straight year in a meet record time of 15:56. He was followed closely by Pierce Libbey ('15) in a time of 16:18 and Jack Mouradian ('14) in 16:45. Sam Potter ('16) and Tyler Klein ('15) rounded out the top 5 running 17:18 and 17:20 respectively.

It was an incredibly close battle on the team scores. The alumni team edged out the current Harriers by 1 point with a team score of 27 over the current team score of 28 despite a furious kick from Matt Richards ('17) that was held off by Evan Bertz ('14) to seal the deal.
