Sam Potter 4th at State!!
Congratulations to Sam Potter who ran 16:02.5 for 5000m in the 2015 WIAA State Championship meet. The course was extremely muddy as these were the toughest conditions he has raced in all season.

Harriers 3rd, Potter wins/advances to Rapids
Sam Potter won the Homestead Sectional at Tendick Park in tough conditions covering the 5000m course in 16 minutes and 10 seconds. The Red Raiders totaled 90 points to finish 3rd in the team scores.

Red Raiders 2nd, Five earn all-conference honors
Sam Potter defended his 2014 individual conference title with another impressive performance covering the 5000 meter course at Rotary Park in 16:03 to lead the Raiders to a second place finish. Maruqez Green finished 10th (16:50), Nathan Green 18th (17:05), Paul Gagne 19th (17:09), Faisal Bartlett 20th (17:12), Jack Sveum 28th (17:29), Ian Tyre 34th (17:34), and Henry Wellenstein 37th (17:41 ranks #8 all-time freshmen)

The Red Raider junior varsity scored 68 points to finish second. Tony Busalacchi set the pace with a 7th place finish in 17:57, Matt Doberstein 10th (18:02), Jacob Odrzywolski 12th (18:04), Eli Werner 17th (18:16), Matt Richards 26th (18:30), Jacob Collison 35th (18:42), and Tom Hoffman 43rd (18:56)

Potter wins, Raiders 4th at Wisco; JV 2nd
Sam Potter won the Wisconsin Lutheran Invite in a PR time of 15:57.52 for 5000 meters. The Raiders scored 141 to finish 4th.
The junior varsity scored 47 points to finish 2nd. Medal winners include Henry Wellenstein 6th (18:03), Ian Tyre 8th (18:06), Eli Werner 10th (18:09), Matt Doberstein 11th (18:12), and Jacob Odrzywolski 12th (18:13)

Raiders 2nd at Purgold, JV wins
The Red Raiders scored 52 points to finish 2nd out of 9 teams and were led by Sam Potter 7th (16:43), Marquez Green 8th (16:43), Nathan Green 11th (16:55), Paul Gagne 13th (16:57), Sam Stelloh 16th (17:07), Faisal Bartlett 17th (17:09), Jack Sveum 20th (17:11)
The junior varsity scored 25 points to win the 55th Annual Purgold Invite by putting 5 runners in the top 7. Tony Busalacchi 3rd (17:50), Matt Doberstein 4th (17:52), Henry Wellenstein 5th (17:52), Ian Tyre 6th (17:56), Jacob Odrzywolski 7th (17:58)

Alumni Run

WAUWATOSA, WI - The annual run takes place at 10:00 AM on the first Saturday in August and brought back 12 alums this year that for another successful run.

Pierce Libbey ('15) completed the technical 5000m course in 15:59 to earn his first alumni run victory. Tanner Rutkowski ('14) finished 2nd in 17:04, Jack Mouradian ('14) finished 3rd in 17:24, Mackenzie Laska ('06) finished 4th in 17:36, and rounding out the top 5 was Jack Sveum ('17) in 17:55

Harriers 4th at Tune up for GMC

The Tosa East Red Raider Harriers had another solid showing in their final tune-up before the Greater Metro Conference Championship Meet next Saturday, October 18 at Mitchell Park in Brookfield. Sam Potter returned the the top to lead the team after sitting out a couple races and taking on pacing duties last week. Tyler Klein and Noah Froh both turned in PR times.

Pierce Libbey made his season debut after spending the entire season in the pool and on the bike due to a stress fractice. He ran a pure gutsy race staying with the leaders through 1.5 miles and held on to be our 4th man.

Christopher Simons ran a PR that now ranks him 4th fastest freshman 5k time in school history and was our 5th runner. Tony Busalacchi eclipsed his PR as the 6th man.

The junior varsity performed just as well and saw nearly everyone on the team earn a PR! The 3rd place Raiders were led by the junior duo of Marquez and Nathan Green who both ran big PRs to finish 6th and 7th place in the race.
